Hello there,
This is a brief introduction of Shalom, her design philosophy and experience – from curated, selected floral material to tailored event spaces:
My foundational philosophy is that Design is the Art of Transformation—shaping not just objects, but how we perceive the world. From my decade of work experience in creative roles, from creating the communication material for Tesla to luxury-brand storytelling, This philosophy is applied and continued to grow and hone my understanding and skills that impactful work occurs when people feel heard and are co-creators in the process. I take time and care in iteratively working with each and every one of my clients and projects to transform their vision into visual experiences.
Consider myself a "design generalist with a purpose." Drawing inspiration from various sources, I have great love for beauty while emphasising the importance of reciprocity, much like Robin W.K. describes in Braiding Sweetgrass. The goal is to create "strawberries" that are both beautiful and meaningful, drawing people in, and achieving the purpose that a client envisions and creating experiences for both the target audience as well as the client through the process.
The collective experience acquired has also taught me the importance of using design to drive change—values that resonate with mission to “make a difference”. Having engaged with diverse and global perspectives through my early studies and frequent travel, I've grown to appreciate our shared humanity to find topics of connection. It is strongly believed that communication and design should unify 'us' rather than focus on'myself' or ‘them’.
It would be a privilege to be able to contribute to creative experience…… inspire and grow as a fellow designer with like-minded people is my ultimate dream.
Best regards,
